INTRODUCING

MAY 4TH 2023 | TORONTO,ON

A GALA IN BENEFIT OF TORONTONIANS WITH UNMET NEEDS

The UnMet Gala is a charitable event in support of WoodGreen to raise awareness and create lasting change for those with unmet needs in Toronto.

Real change is beautiful, so we are shining a spotlight on WoodGreen Community Services, which helps to address unmet needs of people in our city.

Join us on May 4th 2023 at the UnMet Gala for an evening of entertainment, fashion & gourmet fare.

In support of

Woodgreen

WoodGreen is one of the largest social service agencies in Toronto with a rich history of delivering integrated programs to improve the health and wellbeing of the most vulnerable.

Through the support of this gala, WoodGreen will be able to create greater equity, empower, and provide everyone the opportunity to thrive through skills training, mental health counseling, housing access or employment and financial support.

iNSPIRATION

Inspiration for the UnMet experience comes from the heritage of our Gala Chairs, a fusion of energy, sights, sounds and flavours from Krystal Koo’s Chinese descent and Fernanda Dovigi Brazilian descent.

Guests are being asked to ‘Come As You Are.’ A celebration of who you are, where you came from, your values, your heritage, your point of view.

Come As You Are to the UnMet.

A Message from The WoodGreen Foundation

The WoodGreen Foundation would like to express our sincere gratitude to the Gala Committee, philanthropic community and everyone involved in the UnMet Gala, as we work to bring attention to the unmet needs facing our city.

As a result of the generous support WoodGreen receives from this event and donors who care, unmet needs in our city will be MET. This means affordable housing for single mothers and children, mental health access without barriers, employment and skills training for youth, health programs to keep seniors safe at home and out of hospital, settlement support for newcomers and refugees, and so much more.

We hope this event will spark conversation, foster new ways of thinking and inspire action that will help bring us closer to our vision of a Toronto where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.

More than ever, Toronto needs our help. More than ever, WoodGreen needs yours.
